Sanu is exploring for world-class base and precious metal deposits in high-potential areas throughout Africa. The Company is currently focused on several highly promising projects in the emerging gold-rich, volcanic-hosted massive sulfide belt of western Eritrea and has additional exploration projects in Burkina Faso, Republic of Congo, Niger and Morocco. During the quarter ended March 31, 2008 the Company successfully advanced a number of its prospects in Eritrea to drill stage. Drilling of targets located to the north of the Company's Hambok copper-zinc discovery began in early April. Once drilling in the Hambok area is complete the drill will move to test newly discovered base and precious metal gossans in the northern part of the license area. The Company is very encouraged by these new discoveries in areas that have not seen previous mineral exploration. During the quarter the Company continued to evaluate projects for acquisition in several other African countries including Sudan and Burundi focusing on under-explored regions with world class potential where the experience and knowledge of the Company's geological team provides a competitive advantage.
